REVOL Mix for COATING FOAM ITEMS with GEL

(Spraying/Coating of Furniture Accessories, Pillows, Mattresses, Medical Articles and Different Foam Products with Gel)

This is our innovative system for the application of elastomeric gel on items in memory foam and flexible foam, like pillows, mattresses, seats, heel cushions, firearms’ buttostocks, etc…. This layer of gel is often necessary to increase comfort, insulation and colling capacity.

This application of the elastomeric gel can be performed:

• Via pouring inside vacuum-sealed film, which can be attached both to the lower and upper plates of mould-holders and which can be activated using infrared lamps.
• Via direct spraying over finished pieces. This is possible thanks to anthropomorphic 6-axis robots, which are integrated with the rest of the plant and fully controlled via software. Such devices can be equipped with either a mixing head or any other suitable end-of-arm tool.

This is surely one of the most advanced of PU MIX systems in terms of automation. Still, everything has been designed for the sole purpose of optimizing production. As a matter of fact, all stations are enclosed inside protections made in non-stick material, in order to ease cleaning and maintenance operations.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that these are highly flexible plant, that can be enhanced with additions and implements subsequent to the initial installation.
