PU MIX machines presented in this page are devised only to perform the thermoforming process in discontinuous mode. This means that the operator has to place the fabric and/or leather on the mould and then remove said material after it has been thermoformed.
Our couples of thermoforming presses features the following key characteristics:
- Book-wise opening / closing system with toggle joints.
- Hydraulic (oil) parallel movement with adjustable closure.
- Mould-holder’s plates dimensions customizable according to the needs of each customer (the standards are either 400 x 400 mm and 500 x 400 mm).
- Adjustable height between the mould-holder’s plates (from 50 mm up to 120 mm).
- Integrated hydraulic (oil) unit.
- Shut-off valves and solenoid valves for parallel, opening and closing.
- Temperature regulation up to a maximum of 210°C.
- Insulation plates placed below the mould’s plates.
- Heating plates with electrical resistors and temperature plates independent for each mould-holder.
- Push-button box with two-hand manual commands.
- Weekly heating timers and delays of the presses’ automatic opening programmable via HMI.
- Perimeter protections and safety barriers with EC certification included.
- Optional extras that can be implemented in order to improve work both with high and low temperatures (for instance, chiller unit or aluminium plates).
It is also worth mentioning that we produce also presses with an increased size that feature:
- Working areas with dimensions 670 x 670 mm.
- Double tender so that it is possible to work with 2 or 3 materials at both sides of the press.
- Small infrared pre-heating ovens with automatic / synchronized opening.
Finally, upon request, all our machines can be manufactured in compliance with Industry 4.0 norms.
