These are thermoforming systems designed for both discontinuous and continuous production.
The main features of these systems are:
- “Mould dimensions” settings in the supervision to minimize any waste of material.
- Adjustable centre distance between conveyors and movement chains according to the width of the fabric / material.
- Conveyors and chains’ grip of maximum 20 mm at the sides of the fabric / material.
- Adjustable fabric / material feeding speed.
- Automatic dislodgement and extraction of the fabric / material after the thermoforming phase.
- Brushless motors and drives for both the chains and all conveyor belts.
- 2 types of presses (room for either 2 or 4 pairs) with parallel closing movement (from 35 Tons up to 60 Tons) over a base with dimensions 600 x 300 mm or 670 x 670 mm.
- Adjustable height between the plates and closing stroke over the rod of the central hydraulic (oil) cylinder.
- General control board comprising an operating panel and a PLC with a dedicated software to handle all the relevant settings for the thermoforming operations.
- Double-chamber tunnel to pre-heat the material (from min. 0°C up to max. 190°C).
- Completely adjustable temperature regulation for the whole machine (max. 220°C).
- Highly insulating sheets placed both above and below the mould’s plates.
- Guaranteed safety for the operators thanks to protections with safety limit switches.
- Perimeter protections and safety barriers with EC certification included.
- As an optional extra, a tender with a hydraulic cylinder to have the mould exiting from the machine’s footprint to enable discontinuous thermoforming operations and/or the application of a 2nd material or leather (the operator will have to place the fabric / leather on the mould).
- Chiller unit to work with Polyester and Eva.
- Small pre-heating ovens to heat up the 2nd material.
- Automatic recoiler for the finished pieces.
A few typical production examples:
- Hot-hot production on aggregate material = from 120 up to 220 pairs/h (continuous cycle).
- Hot-cold production on Polyester or Eva = from 220 up to 450 pairs/h (continuous cycle).
Finally, upon request, all our machines can be manufactured in compliance with Industry 4.0 norms.
